OUR MISSION:

-To provide a forum for mechanical engineers to meet and exchange ideas on issues of strategic national and regional importance.

- To encourage local professional Engineers and Technicians to become active members of IMechE.

INTRODUCTION

The Institution of Engineers  (IEM) is presenting the Sole Institution regrouping local engineers- Mostly Civil Engineers. Until now, the Body of Mechanical Engineers have been relatively quiet on many critical topics of great local importance (energy, industrialisation, pollution, transport, training, etc), and there has not been much motivation for them to join either IEM nor IMechE.
We are aiming to encourage our local engineers to meet regularly to discuss on subjects of mutual interest and encourage them to eventually join and become members of IMechE.
