Welcome to the Northampton Area web pages where we will update you on events and activities being organised by the Northampton Committee.

Our first event for 2008, a tour of Sywell Aviation Museum, was held on Saturday 10th May. A big thank you to all who attended, around 36 members and family in all. We enjoyed great weather, and a most informative tour of the museum and some of the private areas of the aerodrome. If you haven't been it's well worth a visit. Our thanks to the museum staff for looking after us.

We have now held five social evenings, in Stoke Doyle, Milton Malsor, Sywell, Cottingham and Castle Ashby. We had half a dozen people come to the first evening but no-one else has come to the subsequent evenings, so we've not had the chance to meet any more of you. 

There were 2 more evenings planned around Northamptonshire for the remainder of the year, in Silverstone and Great Cransley, but unfortunately we have had to cancel the Silverstone evening. We will let you know if we can rearrange it if possible. Details of the dates and venues can be found in the Events section.
