Welcome to the IMechE Teesside Area Panel
Serving the Teesside area our committee works very hard to organise lectures and industrial visits, recruit new members, help develop networks and support Continued Professional Development.
Recent industrial visits have included visits to Sembcorp’s Wilton 10 Biomass Power Station, a tour of British Energy’s Control Simulator at Hartlepool Power Station and a tour of Corus Steel’s BOS Plant facility. Technical Lectures have covered topics from Carbon Capture and Storage to Engineering Skills Shortages.
The Panel meets every six weeks at Teesside University, newcomers are welcome to attend perhaps to offer ideas for a future event or even just to listen and meet the panel.
If you are interested in attending the next meeting, or offering suggestions or feedback on events, please contact us using the link on the left side of this page.
Please note that the TPIG Programme is now an online calendar hosted by the Cleveland Scientific Institute http://www.clevelandscientific.org.uk/component/option,com_gcalendar/Itemid,63/
We look forward to seeing you at future events!
