Aerospace North West held their 3rd flight simulator day at Alteon Training, Cheadle, Stockport in June this year. This included a tour of the cabin crew evacuation training facility and a practical session on an Airbus A320 flight simulator. There were also be lectures on Flight Simulation by Brian Taylor - Alteon, Mark White - University of Liverpool & Steve Hodge - BAE Systems.

The Institution of Mechanical Engineers Aerospace North West held another successful flight simulator day at Alteon Training, Cheadle, Stockport, similar to the one they had hosted over two days on 18-19 June 2005. This included a tour of the cabin crew evacuation training facility and a practical session on an Airbus A340 flight simulator. There were also lectures on Development of Aircraft Simulation – an Essential Part of Training and Aircraft Design, by Capt. Hugh Dibley, and on Alteon – Boeing’s Training Company, by Brian Taylor.
